Gaze over the amazing view as you take yourself down the ancient cobbles of Gold Hill, where the mysteries of the Abbey walls lead you into (almost forgotten?) St James…That’s pretty much where thoughts of the past end, as you find yourself at Ye Olde Two Brewers!!
Joe and Sally Grieves, along with their 3 daughters, took on this wonderful public house, nestled at the bottom of the Jubilee Gardens, in january 2007 and changes are visible everywhere! From the newly refurbished garden room with its personal touches, to the well maintained garden with its emphasis on child-friendliness!
The new menu uses local, seasonal ingredients to create diverse dishes at “easy to swallow” prices. There’s also the traditional bar menu to cater for all walks of life, as well as a specials board with daily fresh fish dishes, vegetarian and vegan options.
Above all, most customers are repeats! There’s the chatty sound of happy people enjoying one of their 5 real ales, or one of the many wines on offer to accompany their choice from the Tapas Menu.
So whether you’re looking for a private function in the skittle ally, a wedding reception or just a meal for two, Ye Olde Two Brewers is where you’ll find a warm, welcoming atmosphere!
